This recording was made in response to a call for works by an agency - needless to say, I did not get the position.

This half-an-hour work is best listened to through headphones.

"Postcard From July" was recorded over a weekend in July 2018 in North Yorkshire - I was visiting the farm my father worked at. This is a montage of the soundscape of the weekend.

Part of the recording is where I placed microphones, in a protective housing, on a bird feeder table where my parents fed songbirds and fat pigeons.
