Although TMW has a wealth of instrumentation, the focus here is on ambience, texture, and the conceptualization of emotive responses by way of tones and cascading drones. Melodies gently slip in and out like recalled ghosts to steer the compositions from wandering aimlessly and the entire album creates an ethereal coda that manages to suspend the notion of time. A stupendous accomplishment.
